  • Starbuck UK Version – Autumn Special

    Heyya fellas, 안녕하세요 여러분

Okay kinda late catch for this one but hey at least i got to it. Sadly Starbuck regardless where you are, it is a well known brand, so yeah, the two of the seasonal drink is sold out. I only manage to get my hands on their “Clotted ream Fudge Cold Brew” which to my regret, I’m ordering this during raining day. But I got tight schedule and today is my outing day, girl gotta go out to blog her interest hahaaa.

It cost for £4.90 pound but fret not it taste amazing.
I also took the chocolate chunk cookie to compliment it with. Another mistake as I should have order their Halloweens pumpkin cookie for it fits with the season. Nevertheless, this cookie is the HIT. Not too sweet nor too crunchy that every bits will fall off. Just nice with every bite you take you can savor it.

On side note, as i was ordering my cookie, the man (more like elderly) behind me jokingly said “you gonna gain weight with that chunk hahaa” **insert british accent** to I replied “its cheat day hahahaa” squirming my eyes thus he said, “yeah you got to enjoy it something sweet now and then init, you only live once hahaa” then we all laugh half heartedly including the barista hahaa

Starbuck kinda give vibe of high end bit for I have less people here, or is it the weather doesn’t really allow it to be cafe day. Hahaa But family here with loud kids, I don’t mind really but please don’t shout at the top of your lung. I have faint heart *not literally* but close to my nerve. Hardy people do work here, but maybe they’re on the second floor, not so sure (I’m on the first floor)

The staff super friendly, which i hope applies to all Starbuck, as I don’t know much as I hardly go Starbuck these days ever since I’ve stepped my foot on this English land.

    Alright folks, 지금은 여기까지입니다, TTFN.

  • Caffe Nero UK Version – Autumn Special

    Heyya fellas, 안녕하세요 여러분,
Monologue : I can’t write with being cautious with my surrounding. There’s multiple seat left empty why this person squeeze in to seat at back of my table, so uncomfortable. Not to mention, isn’t it rude to stare, why is this person staring (idly I hope) towards my table? I hope its just introverted me being paranoid; gonna eat drink fast and leave.

There’s lot of other empty table **those window seats were occupied when I was in**
*Updates* Goodies, the person left before I did (Did I portray the discomfort obviously on my face? Hope not, sorry ~~)
Dear Caffe Nero, don’t place your seats so close to other tableeeees~~ Thank you.

Anyways, trying my best here to share this season’s special for Caffe Nero Autumn season, though I believe this is not for the occasion but indeed is limited edition.

Caffe Nero now promoting for its “Amaretto” blend for coffee and chocolate drinks which comes with whipped cream (optional) and mini almond biscotti.

I have mine Ice Amaretto Caffe Latte cost for 4.30 (regardless hot or iced). BUT, if you’re Three network user, you are entitled for any drinks with the price of 1, even for special drink as long its barista brewed. So yeah, grab yours.
I’d say the taste have little bit of cherry spice init. Caffe Nero is known for its tag line “ the Italians coffee Co.”, so might got something to do with this special, not so sure.
*Updates* Yes, being Italians got something to do with the taste and Yes, it is autumn special. Stated so on their apps.

I paired my drink with Roasted Mushroom & Mascarpone Tostati Melt. Splendidly delicious. Its a roasted mushroom, mascarpone, thyme and bloomer bread withs cheese. You can just grab from the fridge’s shelf and bring it over to the counter for heating.

One thing kudos to Caffe Nero, regardless you dine in or to-go, they don’t charge you extra regardless their VAT, so yeah I’m liking it.
Gotta go, customer brought in dog with them. Cute, but I’m still scared of them. Too much dog documentary I’ve seen. Hahaaa

    Alright folks, 지금은 여기까지입니다, TTFN.

  • Costa Coffee UK version- Autumn Special

    Heyya fellas, 안녕하세요 여러분

Autumn seasons here and Costa Coffee are setting their market on Maple flavor. There for this time I’m here for the Maple Hazel Hot Chocolate and Rocky Rock.

    Medium size glass is £4.40
Rocky Rock chocolate brownie is £2.75
Everything comes with a discount if your have their membership.
Truthfully, the hot chocolate was fine, you can taste the maple hazel bits. I took medium size considering the price difference is just 30p.

Kinda disappointed with the Rocky Rock, not because its hard which is expected, but the taste doesn’t go well with me. I fully regret taking it. Initially I wanted to order the Carrot & Walnut cake, but I’m afraid they have the raisins in it, as I asked for allergies concern, they take the initiative to thoroughly check, but yeah raisins not listed there therefore it is unknown (thank you staff – though it was a white lie or you won’t take it seriously).

I meant even in general, their sweet dessert not really their go to as I felt they always over spice their cake or muffins. The only I can handle is their sandwiches or baps. They are fine and actually taste good.
Restaurant ambience wise, I would say fairly good on cleanliness and staff behavior, and this applies to all Costa Coffee. Never had any bad encounters with them. Friendliness of staff is general, not hype friendly like Greggs that makes you felt extra welcome, but that depends on the individual staff I believe.
Great Wi-Fi connection, wouldn’t be a problem to do your work here and socio-demographic are more on people > 25 and family. Hardly sees teenagers around here.

    Alright folks, 지금은 여기까지입니다, TTFN.
